Position Details
Teacher Assistant (Special Needs) – Full-time, Temporary
We are seeking a qualified dynamic, energetic and organised Special Needs Teacher Assistant to work in our Year Five classroom with some students with a disability.
Applicants need to demonstrate a good understanding of working with children with a disability and are willing to work collaboratively as part of a positive and energetic team dedicated to the development of the whole child within the ethos of Catholic Education.

• Demonstrate a high degree of professionalism and confidentiality.
• Display a committed and enthusiastic approach to working with children, with the ability to develop positive and constructive relationships.
• Work positively with teacher direction, as part of a dedicated, collaborative and enthusiastic team.
• Possess good time management skills.
• Exhibit a friendly, open and approachable manner and be supportive of the Catholic Ethos in the performance of their duties.
Qualifications Required
Minimum Certificate III, however, Certificate IV is desirable.
