Job Overview: The Finance Systems Manager is tasked with managing, maintaining, and optimizing the company’s financial systems. This role combines technical proficiency in system administration with a strategic approach to enhance financial processes and reporting. Key Responsibilities: System Management & Optimization: Oversee the configuration, maintenance, and administration of the D365 Finance and Operations platform. Lead initiatives to improve financial reporting, automation, and system efficiency. Ensure system performance, scalability, and compliance with organizational policies and standards. Promote best practices in financial data management, including storage, modeling, and presentation. Manage system integrations and ensure proper maintenance of D365 environments. Stakeholder Collaboration: Partner with IT teams to align and execute finance system strategies, streamline processes, and enhance system capabilities. Serve as the primary liaison between IT, financial control, finance transformation, and financial planning & analysis teams. Oversee the maintenance of financial systems and key interfaces, ensuring continuous improvement and thorough documentation of financial processes and data flows. Process Improvement: Identify opportunities and implement improvements to streamline financial workflows and reporting processes. Collaborate with finance and IT teams to automate manual processes and enhance system efficiency. Business Analysis & Stakeholder Engagement: Work with finance teams to understand business needs and translate them into system configurations and solutions. Act as the key point of contact between finance, IT, and external consultants to ensure smooth system integration and updates. Project Management: Lead projects related to the finance system, such as upgrades, migrations, and new module implementations. Develop detailed project plans, manage timelines, and ensure projects are completed successfully within scope and budget. Compliance & Risk Management: Ensure the finance system meets regulatory and security requirements, including audit trails and data privacy standards. Manage user access and system roles to maintain secure controls. Qualifications Required: Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Information Systems, or a related field. Proven experience in managing and optimizing Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance and Operations (D365 F&O). Strong understanding of finance and accounting principles (GAAP/IFRS). Experience in system implementation, upgrades, and integrations with other business applications. Proficiency in MS SQL Server and Microsoft Excel. Excellent project management skills with a history of successful project delivery. Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills. Microsoft Dynamics 365 Certifications (e.g., MB-300, MB-310). Familiarity with Power BI, Power Automate, or other Microsoft tools for analytics and process automation. Experience with multi-entity, multi-currency, or global finance systems.
