About AFMH Australian Fresh Milk Holdings (AFMH) is a world class dairy farming company focused on the sustainable production of high-quality fresh milk.We apply best practice farming techniques that promote the highest standards of wellbeing and sustainability through innovation, technology and staying true to our values.AFMH operates multiple sites across eastern Australia.Dairy operations are located at Moxey Farms in Gooloogong, NSW, as well as Coomboona Farms in Coomboona, VIC.In addition, AFMH operates Ladysmith Farms, a young stock raising operation near Wagga Wagga, NSW and extensive cropping land in Torrumbarry, VIC.Together we meet new challenges We value our people's unique contributions and work together as part of a high-performing team to deliver on our promises.We're focused on fostering an inclusive culture where our people's diverse thinking, skills and experience add value to our customers, our communities and our business.Location This position will be based at Coomboona Farms near Shepparton in Victoria.The Opportunity As People & Culture Business Partner, you will provide strategic support to the business in executing employee life cycle activities.The role partners closely with business leaders building strategic relationships and supporting the delivery of the AFMH People Plan.The role is a key member of the People & Culture team focused on supporting business strategy, values and objectives.We're looking for someone who enjoys supporting people and working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.You should have an eye for detail, excellent organisational skills, and the ability to work independently and as part of a team.Key accountabilities include: Partner and consult with client groups across all areas of the employee lifecycle and ensure people cyclical activities are delivered Support and participate in the talent acquisition process providing strategic support to enhance the hiring outcome, including recruitment and onboarding Actively monitor the workplace, report all hazards, incidents and near misses and assist in the management of the return to work of injured workers Coach and guide managers to manage employee relation issues, including performance management, misconduct, absenteeism and grievances Maintain and update HRIS (UKG Workforce Ready) and support managers and employees with HRIS functions.Comply with AFMH policies and procedures as set out in the WHS Manual to promote a safety first culture and lead by example Participate in the design of people initiatives that promote continuous cultural improvement and employee wellbeing across the organisation.Delivery of induction and training programs across site to ensure competency and improve safety outcomes along with employee engagement The successful applicant will possess: Tertiary qualifications in HR and/or WHS desirable Relevant and practical experience in similar roles or agricultural business management Working knowledge of Australian industrial relations legislation desirable The ability to work independently and take initiative in all aspects of the role Attention to detail and ability to manage competing activities Achievement focused and resilience, tenacity and flexibility Excellent communication skills and ability to build strong collaborative relationships A proactive, positive attitude with a passion for people.If this role seems like the next step in your career, then we would love to hear from you !
