Summary:
Cavotec is seeking an HR Manager with a strong background in labor law, payroll management, and employee relations to act as an HR leader to support the delivery of the business strategy.
This role will provide employees and the leadership team with professional support in the area of workforce planning, country HR support, employee communication and employee relations.
Responsible for efficient & effective operational management of Human Resources, this role reports directly to the Chief Human Resources Officer and will be part of the global HR team.
The HR Manager will be responsible for Australia and New Zealand.
The Role:
* Work with business departments to identify HR service needs based on workforce planning, business needs and employee needs.
* Support business employee relationship issue management.
* Ensure all policies and procedures are in accordance with company HR policies and procedures, labor laws and local regulations.
* Work with other regional HR function teams to engage in and execute different HR relevant local or international projects.
* Support collaboration in global working structures of business.
* Manage local payroll.
* Prepare, coordinate and execute all interactions with local works counsel.
* Manage external legal HR counseling based on individual needs.
* Manage budget.
* Manage local employees and recruitment.
* Constant catch up and communication with Global HR Team and CHRO.
Requirements:
* University degree, major in HR Management or labor law is preferred.
* Industry background is a plus.
* Good knowledge of local employment laws and regulations.
* Six-plus years of HR manager or HRBP experience in an international environment.
* Process- and detail-oriented professional leader with strong business and analytical skills.
* Strong willingness to contribute, and has listening and analytical skills, able to advise and influence at all levels of the organization.
* Familiar with the latest labor laws and relevant government regulations.
* Good knowledge of Excel.
* Knowledge of NAV will be a plus.
* Well organized, hands-on as well as strategic thinking.
* Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
* Able to manage multiple complex issues.
* Coaching & people competence development, negotiation skills and self-confidence.
* Fluency in English is key.
