Ecka Granules Australia, part of Kymera International, is seeking a motivated and skilled individual to join the Maintenance and Engineering team at the Bell Bay manufacturing site. This is a permanent full-time position directly with Kymera and is offering a 9-day fortnight (every second Friday off), an attractive salary package, 13% superannuation, and opportunities for short- and long-term bonuses in line with company policy. About the Role In this role, you will provide day-to-day electrical, instrumentation, and automation support, working closely with engineers on project development, task supervision, installation, and commissioning. Your responsibilities will include: Installation and maintenance of electrical systems, including wiring, lighting, power outlets, switchboards, fire alarm systems, and camera systems. Maintenance of automation systems and technologies, including PLC programming, industrial communications, and SCADA systems. Troubleshooting complex systems to resolve breakdowns and prevent unplanned downtime. Development and maintenance of a calibration register for key plant instruments. Providing technical support and assistance to the maintenance and production teams as required. Working with process engineers on developing and introducing data historian systems to enhance plant optimization. Supervising maintenance tasks, plant shutdowns, and project work when needed. Providing on-call and call-out support (average of once per month), staying within 1 hour of the site when rostered. Actively promoting safety standards and working cooperatively within the team. Key Qualifications & Experience To be considered for this role, you will need to meet the following criteria: A Current 'A' Grade Electrical License, recognised in Australia Industry experience in electrical maintenance and fault finding. Certificate III in Instrumentation (or working towards completion). Permanent residency or Citizenship in Australia Strong fault-finding and problem-solving skills. Ability to pass a full pre-employment medical Training and experience with Hazardous Area Wiring and Maintenance. Program and troubleshoot Allen Bradley PLCs systems, Citect SCADA and industrial networks. Sound understanding of pneumatic control systems.
