The Opportunities:
AP+ are undergoing a significant growth phase across our best-in-class Risk team and we are seeking Expressions of Interest for experienced:
Senior Managers – Business Risk - play a key role in overseeing and managing the first line of defence in risk management within the organization
Senior Manager Risk Advisory & Assurance - focus on providing expert advice and guidance on risk management and compliance matters, ensuring that AP+'s risk management framework is effective
Manager Compliance – Be responsible for developing, implementing, and maintaining risk management policies and compliance programs across AP+.
Business Manager, Risk – As the Manager of Business Risk (Line 1) will play a key role in overseeing and managing the first line of defence in risk management within the organization. This role involves leading risk assessment and mitigation efforts, ensuring that operational risks are effectively managed
We’re a relatively small organisation with a flat structure, so this role will be hands on. This will involve day-to-day collaboration of the team across functions to ensure risk are identified and mitigating, aligning to our risk appetite and strategy.
The capabilities we’re seeking are:
* As we have multiple roles available, we’re seeking suitably experienced candidates who have proven Risk experience with a focus on operational and/or technology risk
* We are seeking candidates who have worked in line 1, 2 or 3 (audit).
* A strong understanding of risk management frameworks, tools, processes and their practical application is essential
* In depth experience across all of many of the following: risk profiling, controls testing and assurance, issue and incident management and risk in change.
* The ability to communicate risk concepts both informally at formally (ie via reports and at risk governance forums)
* The ability to define and continually improve risk processes and practices.
* Partnering with risk colleagues and the broader business to provide insights and advice to ensure the organisation is operating within its’ risk appetite
* As we are a small organisation these roles are hands-on, but coupled with the opportunity to partner with stakeholders at all levels across the organisation
