The Position We are seeking a highly experienced and motivated Clinical Nurse (Level 2) with Anaesthetics experience to join an established but growing perioperative team.
This role will suit someone who is passionate about creating an environment where staff are excited and engaged to be a part of the organisation and provides support to achieve the best possible health outcomes for patients and their families in accordance with the organisations Mission and Values.
As the CN Anaesthetics, you will assist the Nurse Unit Manager to provide expert clinical and patient-centred care and support the provision of quality and cost-effective nursing services which are consistent with contemporary standards and evidence-based practice.
The Clinical Nurse applies critical thinking and develops effective partnerships to ensure high quality service delivery and demonstrates a commitment to continuous quality and service improvement.
The Person Key Selection Criteria for this position includes: Current Nursing registration with AHPRA.
Postgraduate qualifications in specific perioperative nursing field and twelve months experience working in a clinical area of the specific post graduate qualification; or Minimum four (4) years post basic registration experience including three (3) years' experience within relevant area of specialty (Anaesthetics) Evidence of ongoing professional development as reflected in Professional Development Portfolio Demonstrated high level knowledge of contemporary nursing practices and theory Working knowledge of RosterOn, Riskman, Trendcare and Microsoft applications Working knowledge of patient flow and bed management relevant to a private healthcare setting How to Apply To be considered for this position please submit the following two documents: Cover letter including a response addressing the Key Selection Criteria (maximum 2 pages).
