Our client is seeking a Senior HR Advisor to join their dynamic team. Your day-to-day responsibilities will include liaising with key stakeholders, developing role descriptions, applying HR policies and frameworks, preparing various HR-related documents, and supporting the Principal HR Advisor. You will also need to stay updated on contemporary human resource management practices. This role requires someone who can work independently and confidently across a dynamic project-driven portfolio.Liaise with key stakeholders to understand resourcing needs.Develop new, and update existing, role descriptions.Apply HR policies and frameworks in achieving business outcomes.Prepare HR related correspondence, briefs, reports and resource requests to a high standard.Support the Principal HR Advisor as required to build and mature HR service delivery across the branch.Maintain an understanding of contemporary human resource management practices.What you bring:The ideal candidate for the Senior HR Advisor position will bring recent Queensland Government experience and the ability to work independently across a dynamic project-driven portfolio. You should have a comprehensive understanding of contemporary human resource management practices as well as relevant legislation, industrial agreements, policies and procedures. Strong judgement and critical thinking skills are essential for this role.
