Bookkeeping & Small Practice Accounting (Accounting) The Senior Bookkeeper is responsible for assisting the Financial Controller with maintaining integrity of general ledger accounts in order to ensure timely and accurate financial reporting. What we're looking for: Minimum two years' experience performing general ledger bookkeeping Minimum one year's experience in accounts payable Minimum one year's experience processing payroll Skills in using Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Word Knowledge of Pronto software Knowledge of employee relations and payroll requirements How you will thrive and create an impact: Assists the Financial Controller in compiling Management and Financial accounts including reconciliation of Balance Sheet accounts Reconciles all bank accounts daily Processes payroll fortnightly including superannuation, PAYG and payroll tax Oversees and maintains integrity of Accounts Payable including GL coding and processing payments Processes Import Shipments in Pronto Maintains confidential payroll and HR records Manages Workers' Compensation claims and training grants Performs other duties as assigned This position will be on part-time basis.
