Your role is crucial in making sure that the supply chain operates smoothly, overcoming obstacles, and continuously innovating to meet the demands of healthcare.
What You Will Achieve
In this role, you will:
Manage supply planning activities to ensure reliable product supply to markets in line with customer service and inventory targets. Leverage digital tools (SAP, Tableau, BOBJ etc) to enhance supply visibility to the markets and to simplify planning process through automation initiatives. Partner with site supply chain team and above site teams (AMP, BSL) and provide optimal supply solutions to demand supply changes. Responsible for system parameterization, supply assurance, rough cut capacity analysis, scenario analysis, supply prioritization and supporting special projects. The role requires strong cross-functional collaboration, proactive problem identification and resolution, issue escalation to site planning / AMP teams and effective communication and management of issues and recovery plans to key stakeholders.
Key responsibilities are:
* SAP APO / ECC system maintenance : Define and maintain planning master data parameters in SAP APO / ECC to optimize supply.
* Supply Planning : Manage and coordinate supply chain activities to ensure reliable product supply to markets consistent with Pfizer objectives, customer service levels and inventory management targets.
* RCCP & Capacity Review : Prepare rough cut capacity projections for assigned resources; Collaborate with Site Planning Team to resolve asset capacity balancing trade-offs ensuring sufficient supply performance; Aggregate capacity constraints and ensure balanced Plan of Record for network review of capacity issues.
* Supply Management : Review high-level supply requirements across full planning horizon; Prioritize orders based on market inventory position, SKU segmentation, and site/above site production strategy.
* Supply Governance : Monitor / control schedule break-ins. Develop/update manufacturing site production volume plan of record. Assess volume changes and escalate when potential issues arise.
* Data Analytics : Track supply performance vs metrics, analyze demand supply changes, perform scenario analysis and provide optimal solutions to mitigate supply risks.
* Data visualization : Leverage available digital tools (Tableau, SupplyIQ etc) to effectively summarize the supply performance and optimal supply solutions. Ensure alignment of data across systems and remediate errors.
Here Is What You Need (Minimum Requirements)
* High school diploma (or equivalent) with 8+ years of experience or associate’s degree with 6+ years of experience or BA/BS with 2+ years of experience or MBA/MS with any years of relevant experience.
* Demonstrated experience in pharmaceutical operations.
* Proficiency in production and capacity planning, shop floor control, distribution planning, and inventory control.
* Ability to observe patterns and trends in data, determine root causes of issues, and draw proper conclusions from analysis.
* Developing effective relationships with multiple stakeholders.
* Fluency in written and verbal English.

* Hands-on experience in the System Application & Products (SAP) environment.
* Experience in managing supply chain projects.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* Strong organizational and time management skills.
* Ability to adapt to changing priorities and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
* Experience in a mentor or leadership role within a supply chain team.
