What about the role?
Our Agency & Emerging team is looking for an individual who is keen to gain further development in multisite operations account management. With a number of key agency partners across the Pacific Region, our Key Account Executive is a rare role that will see you be the face of Diageo to our valued regional export accounts.
Key Responsibilities:
* Be the primary contact for our key partners to deliver beer plans, agreed activations and contractual obligations within Australian agency partners and internationally;
* Full accountability to influence across marketing, commercial, innovation and sales & operations planning to deliver outcomes;
* Develop and implement strong joint business plans with key accounts within your portfolio;
* Seek opportunities to partner with and grow relationships, sales and market share within your accounts;
* Use data and insights to understand consumer behaviour to act as a category expert to your key accounts; and
* Some business development activities.
What you’ll bring to the table:
* Previous Key Accounts/Sales experience or a background in Supply/Finance or will be considered;
* Demonstrated experience in nurturing and growing key accounts and the ability to think strategically across the needs of multiple sites within a single ownership group;
* Strong analytical skills and an ability to make solid commercial recommendations and decisions by interrogating performance data;
* Strong communication skills with a proven ability to build relationships internally and externally;
* Strong internal motivation and an ability work within your portfolio autonomously; and
* An entrepreneurial spirit and the willingness to challenge/think differently.
