We also provide home care services to up to 2000 elderly residents across the Sydney Metro Region assisting them to remain in their homes for longer. Our focus is on helping the elderly to be as active and able as they can be, regardless of their underlying health conditions.The RoleWe have exciting opportunities for people to join the team as care workers in our Home Care Package services. These programs operate in the Penrith, Blacktown, The Hills, Parramatta, and Cumberland local government areas.With rosters provided weekly, you will be required to work across Monday to Friday on a permanent part-time basis and your duties will include: Assist elderly customers with activities of their choice and according to individual care plans such as accompanying them to appointments, assisting grocery shopping, and administering medication.Encouraging independence, upholding customers dignity, and support their right of choice.Focused on safety when helping customers enter and exit your vehicle.Aligning your duties accordingly to the individual care plans in place.Actively participate in monthly team meetings.About YouYou will have a strong focus on resident wellbeing and be able to adapt your work practices to a range of resident needs.Hold and maintain a Class C NSW Drivers Licence and comprehensive car insurance.Current National Criminal History Record Check.Have a genuine interested and want to care for elderly people in their own homes.Resilient, quick thinking, and demonstrated problem solving ability.Strong focus on honesty, integrity and working independently.Please note the successful applicant must be willing to undergo a Criminal History Check and have three (3) Covid injections documented by the time of commencement.
