About the Role
As the Project Manager, you will be responsible for liaising with the consultants and the main contractor through the delivery of the Facility project, in Tamworth, NSW.
Reporting to the Project Director you will also work closely with the head contractor to ensure that the project is delivered on time, in accordance with contractual requirements, and meets the highest quality standards.
Key Responsibilities
1. Stakeholder consultation
2. Risk analysis and mitigation strategies
3. Concept and detail design management
4. Cost plan management, monitoring and budget control
5. Detailed scheduling, critical path monitoring and control
6. Establish, lead and manage project governance processes
7. Manage internal client approvals and approvals by authorities
8. Tendering documentation and processes
9. Contract administration and works supervision
10. Progress reporting
11. Project handover and close out
12. Conduct daily site visits to monitor progress, quality, and safety compliance
13. Prepare and review contract documentation
14. Implement and manage quality control processes
15. Identify and resolve any issues or conflicts that arise during the construction process.
16. Maintain a strong focus on safety and environment, implementing and enforcing protocols and regulations.
Requirements
17. Tertiary qualification relevant to Construction or Engineering
18. Proven experience in a Project Manager position, with the delivery of industrial and/or processing construction projects
19. Strong attention to detail
20. An attitude that reflects our client’s culture, which is positive, and solutions-focused
21. Excellent verbal & written communication skills
22. Based on site in Tamworth, NSW
