The Position
* Plan, supervise, and monitor food production across 3 retail outlets and functions and events on campus.
* Maintain a high standard of food safety, allergen awareness, and occupational health and safety (OHS).
* Lead, develop, and inspire a team of culinary talents.
* Ensure the highest standards of food quality and presentation.
* Oversee inventory, procurement, cost control, and minimize food wastage.
The Person
* A minimum Certificate III in Commercial Cookery.
* An accomplished leader with a stellar culinary track record.
* A current Blue Card or ability to obtain.
* Experience in high-volume retail and functions & events catering.
* Leadership experience in mentoring and developing teams.
* A solid understanding of allergen management, food safety, and infection control.
* Availability to work Monday to Friday, with some weekend availability for events throughout the year.
