About the Role As the Head Chef, you will take complete control of the food service standard and delivery across our Launceston Airport. You will play an important role in the development and opening of four brand new Food and Beverage concepts. You will be instrumental in designing menu offers and refreshing them during the year depending on seasons and business influence in terms of efficiency and profitability. You will be supported by a great leadership team and work collaboratively with a professional General Manager and a highly experienced culinary team. As an ideal candidate, you will be an experienced and professional team player with a can-do attitude and a commitment towards achieving outstanding results. What are we looking for? 3+ years of successful industry experience in a Head Chef or senior kitchen position Proven ability managing COGS and labour to ensure profitability and success Proven experience leading a team of 10+ Hands-on and comfortable with high volumes Proven experience in menu development, writing and costing menus Strong communication skills with a focus on staff development and harmonious relationships with FOH Strong Excel experience Must have Food Safety Supervisor Certificate Motivated and driven Head Chef with a big personality who loves the hospo industry!
