We are currently seeking a range of experienced Project Engineers and Senior Project Engineers to join our client's team in a permanent capacity, and support them in the delivery of projects across WA.This is a critical role, so we will be interviewing immediately.About the CompanyOur client has been operating successfully across Australia for a number of years, and they specialise in the Marine infrastructure sector, where they have proven success delivering complex projects from design right through to construction.BenefitsPermanent opportunity with an industry leaderGreat team environmentVery successful company with an excellent reputation within the industryAbout the RoleThe Senior Project Engineer will be responsible for managing and providing ongoing technical support to the project team throughout the project lifecycle, ensuring that the work is delivered as per client specifications and providing solutions throughout.The Project Engineer will provide support and guidance to the engineering team and positively contribute to the development of engineering solutions, including construction methodologies and temporary work designs.Both roles will ensure the safe delivery of the construction of permanent structures in the project and promote a safe working environment, as well as work collaboratively to ensure the successful delivery of projects across Australia.DutiesMaintain/assist with quality control which encompasses budgets, scheduling, and planning.Providing ongoing technical support throughout the project.Prepare and maintain the Construction Environmental Management plans.Developing/supporting a 4-week ahead schedule to the team, working closely with the PM.Supporting in the planning side of work and if any risks are identified, put forward recommendations to mitigate.Obtain technical data, pricing, and compliance documentation and support in the procurement of materials.Tracking any design changes and liaising with the design team to address any issues and mitigate risk.Ensuring work is being delivered as per project scope and timeframe.Support in subcontractor variations and claims.Interfacing with the client as well as contractors and subcontractors.Providing end-of-month forecasting/cost reporting.Strong commitment to safety throughout the project.Skills and ExperienceExperience in the following projects - wharves, jetties, offshore pipelines, bridges over water, piling/drilling, heavy lifting/industrial and/or other marine-based complex structures - EssentialPrevious experience in a similar role.Strong commitment to safety.Strong communication skills.Ability to work to tight deadlines.Competent at identifying complex problems and providing solutions.RequiredAustralian recognised Engineering degree/Construction Management.Minimum of 3-4 years previous hands-on experience as a Project Engineer.Senior Project Engineer - Minimum of 5 years previous hands-on experience.Experience working in the Marine infrastructure (jetties, wharves, offshore pipeline, heavy lifting/industrial projects) is essential.Full Australian Working Rights.If you're keen to embark on a new venture and want to join an industry leader, then click APPLY or contact Meg on 0406 528 047 for a confidential discussion. #J-18808-Ljbffr
