As a Project Manager (Planning) at AMREP Australia, you will guide dynamic teams through the project lifecycle, on-time and within budget, to overcome obstacles and provide win-win outcomes for our clients and their customers. Aligning the business objectives with best practice, the Project Manager will provide project management support in planning or design of transport/infrastructure projects. Projects to be delivered include both road infrastructure and public transport projects. Project values are $100m - $500m+.

You already know what a Project Manager (Planning) does. But just to be sure that we are on this same page, you’ll manage the full lifecycle of transport infrastructure projects, from initial proposal to final business case. This includes ensuring adherence to project timelines, budgets, quality standards, and relevant frameworks.
You will leverage your expertise in civil engineering planning, design, and construction to identify and address potential issues. Additionally, you will provide comprehensive technical guidance throughout the project lifecycle.
The core responsibilities include:
* Complete work tasks in the allocated time.
* Communicate clearly with stakeholders and your supervisor to confirm task requirements.
* Escalate issues when required.
* Highlight complex issues, omissions and risks impacting work tasks and project delivery.
Mandatory knowledge, skills and abilities:
* 5 years minimum experience in transport infrastructure projects and associated fields.
* Bachelor degree in Civil Engineering and/or other qualifications in Planning or Design of Transport Infrastructure projects.
* Qualifications in Project Management.
* Current C Class Drivers Licence.
