PURPOSE
To prepare, cook, and present high-quality dishes within Cucina and Co’s standards, ensuring customer satisfaction and maintaining kitchen efficiency.

The position will be based at 325 New Street, Brighton, Melbourne, VIC 3186
REPORTING TO
The position reports to the Head Chef
QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIREMENTS
- Relevant qualification at the level of a Certificate IV in Commercial Cookery or higher, OR at least 3 years of relevant work experience
- Proven experience as a chef in a reputable restaurant
- Comprehensive knowledge of culinary, baking, and pastry techniques
- Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent time management and organizational skills
- Strong communication and teamwork abilities
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
- Prepare and cook high-quality dishes according to Cucina and Co’s menu
- Ensure consistent and high-quality food presentation
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen
- Manage and train kitchen staff as required
- Monitor food stock and place orders as needed
- Adhere to all health and safety regulations within the kitchen
