Job Description:
We are seeking a dedicated Japanese-Speaking Accounting Support professional to assist with day-to-day accounting functions. This role will involve supporting the finance team in managing financial transactions, processing invoices, reconciling accounts, and liaising with Japanese-speaking clients and suppliers. Key Responsibilities:
* Assist with daily accounting functions, including data entry and financial reconciliations.
* Process invoices and manage accounts payable/receivable.
* Support month-end and year-end closing processes.
* Communicate effectively with Japanese-speaking clients, vendors, and internal teams.
* Prepare financial reports and statements as needed.
* Ensure compliance with relevant financial regulations and policies.
* Assist with ad-hoc accounting projects and provide general administrative support to the finance team.
Skills & Qualifications:
* Fluency in Japanese (both written and spoken) is essential.
* Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
* Proven experience in accounting or finance support (1-2 years preferred).
* Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
* Good Excel skills.
* Excellent communication skills, both in English and Japanese.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
* Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive attitude.
