As a member of our team you will play an important role in providing high-quality service to theatres and other clinical areas. As a Theatre Technician your responsibilities will include: Assist nursing staff in the delivery of safe and compassionate careTransport to and from the wardAssist with the safe positioning and immediate preoperative preparation of the patientAssist with positioning and connection of equipment in the theatre as requiredMaintenance of a sterile environmentSound knowledge of theatre equipment and safe use practicesAdhere to Healthscope and site policies and proceduresContribute to the efficient, effective, and economic running of the Perioperative Services team Minimum Requirements: Authority to Work in AustraliaMinimum 12 months experience as a Theatre TechnicianWorking with Children checkCommitment to service excellenceStrong time management and prioritisation skillsExcellent communication and customer service abilitiesWork well independently and within a teamCertificate III in Health Service Assistance (Operating Theatre Technical Support) Healthscope, where career means more!
