Role Summary
CHC is currently looking to expand its Safety and Quality Team and is searching for two new S&Q Advisor's. The Safety and Quality Advisor's will be a suitably qualified and safety passionate individuals to be based in either our head office in West Perth or our Adelaide Office. The successful candidates will be key contributors to the accomplishment and business objectives of the team and will be supporting the wider safety team both regionally and globally.
Key Responsibilities
Key Responsibilities include but not limited to:
1. Support the S&Q management for delivery of operational risk functions DSRM, Safety Reporting and Metric development
2. Support the S&Q team with administrative activities, oversight and follow-up of ongoing tasks. Managing safety reports, action oversight and the storage of meeting minutes, safety information and evidence
3. Provide reporting statistics and data on the SMS and HESS systems performance
4. Oversight and follow-up SMS activities with departmental heads and staff to ensure safety actions are completed
5. Foster and develop professional relationships and trust through effective engagement of the organisation departments
6. Provide support and training for the SQID system and perform the system administrator requirements in APAC
7. Support administrative functions including document control and safety promotion material
8. Contribute to the SMS continuous improvement program
9. Contribute to data, statistics, and information in support of commercial tenders and contracts
10. Development and coordination of Quality and Safety performance metrics
11. Develop high level analysis and reports from safety system surveys
12. Coordinate follow up, analysis and reports from company-wide risk reviews
13. Display a high level of integrity when dealing with sensitive and confidential material
14. Develop and maintain strong working relationships with management, staff and regulatory authorities
15. Keep up to date with current trends and developments associated with the industry including quality and safety legislation.
Qualifications, Skills & Attributes
Skills, Experience and Attributes:
16. Certificate IV in WHS or Diploma in aviation or other relevant field is desirable.
17. Certificate IV in Training & Assessment or similar training knowledge and experience is desirable.
18. Experience working in a safety and quality environment is desirable.
19. Experience in administration within an aviation environment is required.
20. Training and/or knowledge in the application of safety, quality, and environmental management standards according to ISO or equivalent is preferred but not essential.
21. Knowledge of CASA, EASA, and FAA regulations applicable to an MRO/CAMO/Flight Operations is preferred.
22. Experience in an MRO/CAMO/Flight Ops/Ground environment is ideal.
23. Excellent proficiency with Microsoft Office packages in particular Word, Excel and Power Point.
24. A team player with excellent interpersonal skills.
25. Excellent communication skills both verbal and written.
26. Self-motivated and results oriented with a focus on quality and customer service.
27. Demonstrated ability to effectively manage multiple demands in a rapidly changing environment.
