The outer western region of the service encompasses extremely remote communities, and it is estimated that 12% of the population are Indigenous Australian. The CHHHS is committed to improving the health and wellbeing of all people in Far North Queensland across 141,000km2 and employs approximately 6,300 staff, making it the largest employer in the region.THE ROLEThe Executive Director of Nursing and Midwifery is the single point of accountability for the professional leadership and direction of nursing services within the CHHHS.
