Psychologist - Senior, Queensland Health 2 months ago, from Queensland Government The Psychologist (Senior) will participate as a member of the Mental Health Team in providing comprehensive mental health assessment, case management, intervention, or group work as required within a multidisciplinary framework. The position is responsible for ensuring the implementation of individual assessment, diagnosis, treatment, follow-up, multidisciplinary consultation, liaison with referring agents, discharge planning, and evaluation of care using appropriate outcome and data measurement systems. The Community Mental Health Service provides community-based assessment and treatment using case management in the context of a multi-disciplinary team, for people with moderate to severe mental health problems. Generous remuneration package value up to $152,775 p.a. comprising: Salary range of $124,435 to $133,901 p.a. (HP4) 17.5% leave loading + leave 12.75% employer contribution to superannuation. Requirements The successful applicant must hold a tertiary degree (or equivalent) qualification from an accredited tertiary institution in Psychology. Registration with the Psychology Board of Australia is required. Proof of registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) and possession of a current practising certificate. Possession of relevant post-registration and/or tertiary qualifications in Psychology would be well regarded for a position at this level. Eligibility for appointment as an Authorised Mental Health Practitioner under the Mental Health Act 2016 would be well regarded. Drivers Licence: This position requires the incumbent to operate a class "C" motor vehicle and an appropriate licence endorsement to operate this type of vehicle is required.
