Job Description Salary Range: $85,000 - $100,000 including superannuation We're on the lookout for qualified and experienced Quantity Surveyor to work within our Brisbane office.
Focused on a range of commercial construction projec ts, this role will perform various Quantity Surveying functions including estimating, planning and cost management, cost monitoring, and accurate and timely financial reporting whilst exercising sound financial acumen with a key focus on proactively maximising value for our clients.
This role is responsible for: Liaising with clients, architects and main contractors Identifying and facilitating new business opportunities Master-plan and feasibility budgets Cost checking of developing design Value engineering Tender evaluations and analysis Contract negotiations Cash flow projects Procurement Cost reporting Evaluation of variations Valuations Final account reporting Claims preparation, presentation, negotiation and settlement of claims Investment analysis Qualifications Relevant tertiary qualification in any of the following areas: Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering or Construction Experience in cost estimating and planning software- Cost X Full Australian working rights and currently located in Australia MRICS / AIQS accreditation Proficient in the use of CostX will be highly regarded Excellent command of written and spoken English with excellent report writing skills.
