How will I help? This is a unique and exciting opportunity to continuing growing the Power Platform capability within the Westpac Group and enable all business units to achieve their goals using this capability. The key focus of this role is around the citizen development aspect of the capability, however you’ll also have the opportunity for the end-to-end oversight of Power Platform deliveries with a focus on ensuring that solutions are effectively delivered and maximizing benefit to the Group. This role can be based in Sydney or Melbourne and will require attendance in the office 2-3 days a week. Key accountabilities of the position are as follows: Business Partnership Be the engagement point person for the Business Instil and role model a culture of exemplary customer satisfaction for the business teams you support Develop an in-depth understanding of business processes and technology landscape Understand the business context and drivers that contribute to successful performance. Effectively manage relationships and communications with project stakeholders, including customers and delivery teams Effective Solution Design Participate in solution design activities, ensuring the appropriate review and approval process is followed Provide specialist advice on general design methods and practices and identify conditions or factors that may affect objectives Ensure solutions consider the combined features and constraints relating to data, security, integration, infrastructure, and performance Drive adoption of best practices around design, configuration, quality, performance and ensure proposed solutions are scalable and extensible Governance & Best Practice Adheres to the risk framework and associated controls to ensure all risk is identified, managed, escalated, and managed Driving delivery teams to produce high quality solutions that are fast and resilient Perform and report on formal code reviews to control quality Provide guidance on the Power Platform approach and application of methodology in projects Power Platform Capability Contribute to the Power Platform strategy within Westpac Drive projects to uplift Power Platform capability Training, nurturing and supporting a community of citizen developers What’s in it for me? What do I need? 5 years experience in a large and complex organisation 3 years experience in delivering Power Platform solutions (Power Apps and Power Automate) Strong knowledge of Power Apps, Power Automate, SharePoint Tangible experience in liaising with and presenting to Senior Management Track record in delivering outcomes on time, on budget & required quality Ability to work under pressure and to tight deadlines Knowledge with Dataverse, Azure SQL, Custom/Premium Connectors and Data Gateways is desirable Knowledge in any of the following is desirable: JavaScript, JSON, TypeScript, C#, HTML, .NET, Microsoft Azure, Microsoft 365, RESTful web services, ASP.NET Microsoft Power Platform Certifications (desirable) Experience in agile ways of working What’s it like to work there?
