This position will support Richmond and Bankstown, NSW operations as required.DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:Evaluate the current department goals, and align them with company direction, in part by meeting with the DOM’s and VP of Maintenance to establish prioritiesAssess department organization, and present Opportunities for Improvement (OFI’s) to leadershipProvide weekly status reports to appropriate fleet technician for distributionAttend weekly maintenance and project meetings as requiredEnsure all AD’s, SB’s and Service Letters are reviewed and distributed quickly to the appropriate Fleet Manager for further review and concurrence of applicabilityMonitor any updates from Regulatory Authorities and Original equipment Manufacturers for instructions affecting the airworthiness of the aircraftWork with Management, QA, and QC team members for investigations, audits, and reporting needsEnsure the technical library is current and revisions are being sent to the field for use in a common place, tracked, and recordedPerform other duties as assignedREQUIREMENTS:Previous experience in aviation industryThorough understanding of all technical documents such as technical bulletins, alert service bulletins, Airworthiness Directives etc.Comprehensive understanding of Australian Aviation (CASA) requirementsCurrently hold or ability to obtain Red ASIC card and/or RAAF passesWe would like to thank all applicants in advance for their interest; however, we can only consider applicants that are an Australian resident and are legally eligible to work in Australia.
