As a Finance Systems Manager, you will not only maintain but evaluate and develop effective finance systems for Kmart Group. Project managing new initiatives and executing the finance roadmap to enable process improvement and integration of core systems across the group.
We are seeking a proactive and enthusiastic candidate who is passionate about project management and automation, driving value to the business and creating a new better way of working.
What you’ll be doing
1. Ensures integrity of Finance systems with controls and governance, including user access, segregation of duties, and data integrity.
2. Collaborate with the Finance team in the planning, design, development and deployment of new applications and enhancements to existing applications.
3. Lead end to end project delivery of Finance initiatives.
4. Facilitate workshops with working groups, deliver action plans and outcomes which are communicated across the business.
5. Assess the vendor development strategies and determine the impacts on the long and short-term lifecycle for finance systems.
6. Review and analyse the effectiveness and efficiency of existing finance systems and develop strategies for improving or further leveraging these systems.
7. Provide technical expertise to the Finance team and how Finance processes are impacted by any changes.
To be successful in this role you’ll have:
1. 5 years’ experience in a similar role leading project management.
2. Tertiary qualification in a relevant field (finance, business, commerce, IT, etc).
3. Experience in retail industry ideal.
4. System experience with SAP S4HANA.
5. Exposure to PowerBI and Microsoft Excel ideal.
6. Strong stakeholder management and the ability to consult and influence.
