The successful candidate will enhance the student experience and drive educational innovation through collaboration, academic innovation, and curriculum transformation.Role OverviewDrive Strategic Educational LeadershipLead a strategic agenda in the education portfolio, focussing on future-oriented planning.
Embed a strong emphasis on teaching excellence and the student experience across disciplines.Enhance Student ExperienceDeliver systemic improvements to lift student satisfaction, particularly through curriculum refinement, assessment reform, and enhancement of clinical placements and workplace learning.Lead and Influence Across DisciplinesWork effectively across a broad, multidisciplinary faculty using academic diplomacy and strong relationship-building to influence without direct authority.Curriculum TransformationProgress the indigenisation of curriculum, simplify complex program structures, and promote interprofessional learning—especially in health-related fields.Stakeholder Engagement & Team LeadershipEstablish strong working relationships with Heads of School, the Professional Head of Education and the broader academic team.
Lead through collaboration, authenticity, and influence.Understand and Navigate University SystemsRapidly gain a working knowledge of University policies, procedures, and governance structures.

Term and remunerationThe successful candidate will be offered a 5-year fixed term position on a full-time basis, with the possibility for renewal subject to performance and funding agreement.
