About the opportunityThe NSW State Emergency Service (NSW SES) has an exciting opportunity for an Event Specialist looking to utilise and expand their conference or function experience, skills and knowledge whilst working with a team of dedicated staff and volunteers. The Protocol Special Events Officer oversees the planning, coordination and delivery of a range of events and functions of significance, to maximise customer service, stakeholder engagement and to meet the objectives of NSW SES. About youTo be successful in this role you will have:• Experience in events management, including planning internal and external functions.• Experience in stakeholder engagement, negotiation and the ability to influence outcomes in a demanding work environment.• Thorough knowledge of AIIMS principles and processes, and/or willingness to obtain competence within 12 months.
