The role is responsible for business and enterprise application support in a Teaching and Learning and Microsoft environment and may take the lead technical role in a range of projects and BAU activities.About the roleSupport UTS College technology environment, with a particular focus on business systems and enterprise applications and software used to deliver IT services to students and staff in accordance with agreed SLAs and standards.Provide technical support to students and staff for all applications, including Student Management System, teaching and learning platforms, Microsoft applications including collaboration and productivity software, corporate applications.Collect, document and interpret requirements of non-technical users to provide support and determine user requirements of new, or significantly changed, systems as well as communicate information to users in non-technical terms.Ongoing maintenance and management by providing systems and application administration including undertaking regular proactive reviews to drive high standards of internal and external customer satisfaction and service.Assist in testing and deploying system upgrades, releases, patches, updates and ensure compliance with organisational IT policies and security standards.Evaluate the suitability of existing applications in meeting user's requirements, undertaking enhancements and modifications to these applications.
