We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Psychologist to join our part-time team in Hervey Bay. Our mission is to empower children and youth to lead mentally and emotionally healthy lives by fostering collaborative, respectful, and empathic relationships.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Conduct comprehensive psychological assessments and develop tailored treatment plans to address the unique needs of our clients.
2. Provide evidence-based therapeutic interventions that cater to the diverse requirements of children and youth.
3. Maintain meticulous and confidential client records, adhering to the highest professional standards.
4. Collaborate effectively with other healthcare professionals to ensure holistic care and support.
5. Pursue regular supervision, training, and professional development to stay abreast of best practices.
Qualifications & Requirements:
1. Holding current registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) as a Psychologist.
2. Eligibility for a Medicare Provider Number, Working with Children Blue Card, and NDIS Worker Screening.
3. Previous experience in a private practice setting is advantageous but not essential.
4. Demonstrating strong communication, interpersonal, and organisational skills.
5. Able to work independently while contributing to a dynamic and collaborative team environment.
