Job Title: Senior Taxation Accountant
Classification: ANU Officer 8 (Administration)
Salary Package: $115,511 - $123,519 per annum plus 17% superannuation
Terms: Full time, Fixed Term (up to 18 months)
The Senior Taxation Accountant plays a critical role in delivering timely and effective GST, FBT, and other taxation related reporting services to the University's Colleges and Portfolio and Administrative business units. This position requires strong collaboration with stakeholders and teams to lead, develop, and implement financial processes, strategies, and initiatives across the University.
About the Role:
The Australian National University has an exciting opportunity for a highly motivated finance professional to work within the Finance and Business Services Division (F&BS). F&BS supports the University's strategic and operational goals through the provision of professional corporate financial management and administration, reporting, and effective business services.
Your Key Responsibilities:
* Deliver high-quality GST, FBT, and other taxation related reporting services
* Collaborate with stakeholders and teams to lead, develop, and implement financial processes, strategies, and initiatives
* Apply contemporary financial management practices and analytical and problem-solving skills
* Provide excellent communication skills and stakeholder engagement
What You'll Need:
* Tertiary qualifications in accounting (CA, CPA)
* Experience in providing taxation services
