Your new company
Hays Office Support are currently working with a well-known Tasmanian business who work closely with the community. They have the need for an experienced Office Administrator to join their team on a full-time basis till the end of January 2025.
Your new role
As the Office Administrator, your core duties will be providing support to the leadership team and Office Manager. However, working within a small team, you’ll be responsible for a wide variety of duties such as:
1. First point of contact for the organisation, dealing with all customer enquiries via phone, email, and face to face.
2. Assist with event coordination.
3. Coordinate general office tidiness, maintenance of common office areas, and meeting rooms coordination and scheduling.
4. Ensure stationery and general office supplies are ordered and maintained.
5. Other adhoc administration work as required.
What you'll need to succeed
As the successful candidate, you’ll have excellent communication skills (both written and verbal), and a proven track record in an Office Manager/Administration role. You’ll also have:
1. Excellent time management skills.
2. Prior experience supporting senior business leaders.
3. Ability to work autonomously.
4. Outstanding attention to detail.
5. Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office suite.
6. Ability to work well under pressure and prioritise competing demands.
