Korvest Galvanising processes structural steel & components for both internal and external customers. EzyStrut is the market leader in cable and pipe support systems throughout Australia. Scope of the Role: We are seeking a driven, enthusiastic, and experienced Mechanical Engineer to join our team of Engineers responsible for both sales and manufacturing support. This position will assist in the design of new products and offers a variety of duties including: Assist in the design of new products Engineering assessments for cold and fire rated systems Engineering project management of larger cable ladder installations typically tunnels, including liaising directly with client and external engineering consultants Trade/hands on background advantageous Investigating and resolving mechanical issues both in the design and product implementation phase Assisting less experienced engineers in their development What we offer: Annual KPI incentive program Eligibility for company share bonus after 2 years of service Discounted private health insurance Social programs including quarterly site-wide events Employee referral program Charity and community support programs Professional and personal career development Access to our employee assistance program To be successful in this role you will have: Minimum Diploma in Mechanical Engineering with at least 3 years working within the manufacturing industry In-depth knowledge of mechanical systems Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with an eye for detail Work well as part of larger team Experience in project management, CAD (e.g. SolidWorks), and involvement with automation systems while not essential, will be highly regarded.
