We are seeking a Compliance & Auditing Officer to lead and uphold the highest standards across our operations.Brief Summary of role:The Compliance & Auditing Officer is responsible for ensuring that the organisation meets and maintains compliance with all relevant international and national standards and regulations, including but not limited to the National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS), Aged Care Quality Standards, ISO 9001 (QMS) and ISO 27001 (ISMS), and QIC Health and Community Services Standards. This role will play a key part in auditing, monitoring, and improving services to ensure quality service delivery and adherence to best practices within the organisation.Key Responsibilities:
Plan and execute audits, both internal and external.
Ensure compliance with legislative and accreditation requirements.
Lead staff training programs and drive awareness of quality standards.
Review, update and implement Policies and procedures.
Collaborate to embed a culture of compliance and quality throughout the organisation.
Understand, record and strive for Continual Quality Improvement
Monitor and support the implementation of corrective actions
Salary and Conditions:Employment Type: FulltimeSalary Range: $70,000 - $86,000 per annum (pro-rata)Entitlements/Benefits:

Location: Kalano's Main Office, Katherine, NT 0850Hours of work: 37.5 hours per week. Monday - Friday | 08:00am - 4:30pm. with a 1hour unpaid lunch break.The successful applicant should possess the following:Qualifications Certificate IV or Diploma in Quality Auditing and/or Compliance (or willing to obtain)Experience & Skills
Experience working in a quality and compliance role, with a strong focus on audits and accreditation
In-depth understanding of relevant legislations, standards, regulations, and accreditation requirements.
Strong administrative skills, including competent use of Microsoft Office and various IT systems and software’s.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, Ability to analyse complex data sets to identify patterns and implement evidence-based safety improvements.
Strong organisational, time-management and project management skills, with the ability to manage and implement multiple audits, assessments and safety activities and initiatives simultaneously.
Excellent communication, interpersonal and relationship management skills, with the ability to engage, educate and provide advice and recommendations to all levels of staff.
A proactive approach with a strong attention to detail to maintain accurate records and a commitment to continuous improvement.
Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
