We foster a team that works and learns from each other, creating a positive work environment.About YouWe are looking for an experienced Diploma qualified Educator (or someone wanting to study their Diploma with us), with the potential to move into a Team Lead role in the future. In this role you will:Assume the role of a “Responsible Person” in the absence of the Director.Support rostering and ensure daily tasks are completed, meeting both regulations and organisational policy and procedures.Collaborate and communicate with families regarding the child's day.Ensure the Centre is set up for the day.Work collaboratively with your team to provide an appropriate developmental and enriching program for children, maximising opportunities for them to develop to their full potential.Build and maintain positive and meaningful relationships with children, families, staff, and the local community.Be a motivated and driven Educator, who will actively contribute to the program through detailed observations and documentation.Build positive behaviour guidance strategies and provide spontaneous play-based learning experiences to extend children's learning.Contribute to a child-safe environment, ensuring standards are met on a daily basis.Skills and ExperienceThe right candidate for this role will have:Completed Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care (or willing to study for your Diploma).Current First Aid and CPR Certificate.Current Responding to Abuse & Neglect Education & Care Training.Current Working with Children's Check.Current Food Safety Certificate.Good written and communication skills.Good knowledge of the Early Years Learning and National Quality Framework.Availability to work 3-4 days/week, during opening hours from 6:30 am to 6:30 pm.What We Can OfferA supportive and rewarding service, based on the banks of the South Para River.Competitive above award wages, reviewed annually.Uniform provided.Great working team and culture.Ongoing professional development, including an onsite trainer.Supportive director and team structure.If you are excited by this opportunity, please don't hesitate to submit your cover letter and resume via SEEK.Please contact our Director, Emma, at 08 8522 6662 for further information regarding the role.
