Are you ready to take on a pivotal role in ensuring loan quality assurance and risk management within BOQ Group?
As the Senior Analyst Broker Governance Monitoring and Supervision (Retail Brokers), you'll support Retail Broker and Strategic Partnerships Management through Loan Quality Assurance, Risk Control Management and Execution, and supporting Retail Broker and Referrer Accreditations.
You'll execute the Retail Broker Governance Monitoring and Supervision Plan, performing analysis to identify potential risks, conducting broker introduced loan file and accreditation reviews, and reporting findings.
You'll manage control activities across Retail Broker and Strategic Partnerships, assist with risk issues and incidents, and provide risk feedback on policies and procedures.
Building strong relationships, you'll work with Line 1 Business teams and Risk to manage and report on all risk-related activities.
You'll also support the Retail Broker and Referrer Accreditations Team with onboarding responsibilities and assist the Broker Governance Manager and Head of Operations Retail Brokers with general activities.
About you We're looking for someone with experience in the financial services industry, preferably within banking, and a working knowledge of non-financial risk management.
You should understand residential aggregator and broker structures, including ASIC licensing regimes.
If you have been a credit auditor or credit assessor with a strong knowledge of brokers and a background in residential mortgage loans, we would love to hear from you.
You should be able to analyse and interpret financial, statistical, and qualitative data and present it logically.
Knowledge of banking processes, controls, and non-financial risk management is crucial.
Attention to detail, prioritisation, and problem-solving skills are key.
Strong relationship and stakeholder management skills are essential.
You should work effectively across various areas and organisational levels.
