As the Allied Health Assistant, duties for the role will include:Providing comprehensive education to patients/groups of patients as directed by AHP staff on a defined range of topicsWorking with the Social Worker to address barriers to attending Outpatient appointments and/or following treatment plansAccurately maintaining therapy-related databases and patient documentation under the explicit direction of the supervising AHPContributing to the development of an integrated team approach and culture which is highly responsive to the needs of our consumersAssisting patients and families with practical assistance such as access to transport, accommodation, toiletries, clothing, etc. where appropriateAbout you:Demonstrated ability to work effectively both as a member of a multi-disciplinary team and under remote supervision and direction from Allied Health ProfessionalsSound time management, organisational, and communication skillsCertificate 4 in Allied Health Assistance, or equivalentExperience working within a hospital or other healthcare settingWant To Know More?
