About the Role
Due to growth, we are seeking a Senior Civil Design Engineer with experience in a similar Engineering Consultancy role.
You will report to the Civil Group Leader and receive guidance and mentorship for your career development.
Opportunities exist for you to work towards becoming the Civil Team Leader in the Sydney office.
This position offers a mix of hands-on technical design and project management responsibilities, accommodating either a Senior Civil Engineer interested in project management or a hands-on technical design engineer.
You will work on a diverse range of projects including roads, stormwater management, flood analysis and reporting, residential/land development, earthworks modeling, civil inspections, retaining walls, and pavements.
Essential Skills:
* A minimum of 4-5 years of experience in Civil Design Engineering
* Experience gained designing and managing projects with minimal supervision
* Regular coordination and interface with key clients and stakeholders
* Proficiency in MUSIC and DRAINS, with experience using Civil 3D highly beneficial
* Tertiary qualification in Civil Engineering or similar
* Strong interpersonal and communication skills, particularly in report writing
* Excellent knowledge of Australian Standards and Council design standards
