Job Summary
This is an exciting opportunity to join our team as a Therapeutic Youth Worker in Western NSW. You will provide a safe and secure environment for young people to thrive, support them in achieving their living skills and Case Plan goals, and be an advocate for their needs.
Key Responsibilities
* Provide a supportive environment for young people to transition into and out of care
* Support young people in achieving their living skills and Case Plan goals
* Be an advocate for the young person's needs
* Manage complex behaviours and difficult situations according to the behaviour management plan
Requirements
* Current NSW Working with Children Check for paid employment
* Current National Criminal History Check Certificate
* First Aid Certificate (preferred but not essential)
* A valid NSW driver's licence
* A roadworthy and comprehensively insured vehicle
* A qualification in Social Work, Youth Work or equivalent, or considerable industry experience

About the Role
This is a full-time, part-time or casual opportunity, with shifts available Monday to Friday, including afternoons, days, evenings, mornings and public holidays. A valid NSW driver's licence and a roadworthy and comprehensively insured vehicle are required.
