About the Role:
As a Quality Manager, you will coordinate and lead the quality and compliance requirements for the organisation, including the quality management system, the oversight of the development of policies and procedures and both internal and external reporting requirements.
You will also:
* Manage the quality and compliance capability across the organisation supporting the strategic, quality and continuous improvement agenda.
* Have the opportunity to visit Sylvanvale sites to guide and provide advice to staff about what compliance looks like in practice.
* Work with subject matter experts to ensure that policies and procedures are developed that meet legislative and regulatory requirements and are fit for purpose
* Analyse the business environment to identify risks and service improvement initiatives.
* Lead Sylvanvale’s audit processes and give advice on what quality practice looks like
* Manage any changes in Sylvanvale’s risk framework aligned to legislation, standards, business strategies and direction.
* Adhere to regulatory environments including the NDIS Quality and Safeguards Commission compliance requirements
A Bit About You:
To have success in the role, you will be an adaptable and passionate professional with the ability to lead quality and compliance requirements. You will also have:
* Relevant tertiary qualifications or extensive experience in disability services including but not limited to the NDIS Quality and Safeguards Commission
* Demonstrated experience working with quality programs, accreditation and/or auditing ideally in Community, Disability, Health, Government or related field.
* Working knowledge of information systems used for the recording and reporting of incidents and continuous improvement.
* Demonstrated experience in writing policy and procedures at a high level.
* A strong ability to synthesise legislation and complex terminology to communicate this to Sylvanvale staff and other stakeholders
* Strong reporting skills including skills in data management and manipulation.
* Excellent interpersonal, communication and presentation skills with the ability to communicate effectively with people at all levels
* Currently have or willing to complete: National Police Check, Working with Children Check, NDIS Worker Screening Check and hold a NSW Drivers License
