About the Opportunity
Our company is currently seeking a Principal Water Process Engineer to join our Water and Wastewater Infrastructure Team. As the Principal Water Process Engineer, you will be responsible for working as part of a team to provide project and design management services to clients in the Water sector. You will also get the opportunity to work on projects internationally and connect to Global Industry leaders and experts.
Responsibilities:
1. Providing consultancy services in the Water Infrastructure market across the ANZ region.
2. Responsibility for project delivery, client relationship management, and technical leadership throughout ANZ.
3. Collaborating with commercial, operational management, sales, and technical leaders to create strategies, pursue opportunities, and plan, develop and deliver a range of projects.
4. Supporting the management of the NSW Water Infrastructure Section and the wider ANZ water group in terms of team development, mentoring, and growth.
5. Acting as a technical and project lead for water infrastructure design projects.
6. Keeping abreast of new methods, technologies, and developments impacting the industry.
7. Driving business development and being responsible for work winning activities including client engagement and commercial negotiations.
8. Maintaining compliance with Jacobs QA/QC procedures.
9. Facilitating the technical development of less senior personnel.
10. Leading and supporting safety initiatives and driving Jacobs Beyond Zero culture.
About you:
1. A relevant engineering degree (or equivalent).
2. Excellent technical knowledge and strong proven experience in water Infrastructure.
3. Extensive knowledge of relevant legislation, standards, and guidelines.
4. Strong track record with client relationships and demonstrated ability to find, bid, win, and deliver water infrastructure projects.
5. A passion for sustainable and innovative water management and development.
