About Genton Genton is a multi-award-winning architecture and design practice with offices in Sydney and Melbourne, working on projects nationally.Our diverse portfolio includes public infrastructure, transport, urban design, and precinct planning projects, delivered by a collaborative team of architects, interior designers, 3D modelers, and documentation specialists.Job Overview We are seeking a highly skilled Information and Organisation Manager to join Genton.This role focuses on supporting the operational and project management aspects of the practice, with an emphasis on managing information systems, improving workflow efficiency, and ensuring the smooth organisation of data across projects and departments.The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in optimising how information is captured, organised, and shared, contributing to the effective delivery of architectural projects from concept to completion.Key Responsibilities: Project Information Management: Establish and maintain information systems to organise project documentation, architectural drawings, and client communication for easy access and retrieval by the team.Process Optimisation: Analyse current project workflows and operational processes, and implement improvements to enhance efficiency and reduce bottlenecks in project delivery.Data and Document Control: Oversee document control processes to ensure accurate and compliant storage of design documentation, contracts, and project-related information.Quality Assurance Support: Coordinate quality control processes related to project documentation, ensuring adherence to industry standards and company protocols.Information System Maintenance: Maintain and manage key software platforms to support collaborative work among architects, engineers, and consultants.Compliance and Reporting: Ensure all documentation and information management systems comply with architectural practice standards and relevant regulatory requirements.Prepare reports on project progress, resource allocation, and compliance.Stakeholder Collaboration: Collaborate with internal teams and external stakeholders to streamline communication and ensure information flows efficiently.Project Coordination Support: Assist with the coordination of multiple projects, helping the architectural teams manage timelines, budgets, and resource allocation through effective data management.Technology Implementation: Recommend and implement new technology solutions to improve project management and information-sharing practices across the practice.Key Skills and Requirements: Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in information management, architecture, business administration, or a related field.Experience: Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in an information management or project coordination role within an architectural, engineering, or design practice.Software Proficiency: Proficiency in Microsoft Office.Organisation Skills: Strong organisational skills with the ability to handle multiple projects and prioritise tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment.Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to engage with both technical and creative teams.Attention to Detail: High level of accuracy and attention to detail in managing project documentation, contracts, and client correspondence.Problem-Solving: Demonstrated ability to identify operational challenges and provide solutions to improve project and practice-wide efficiencies.Familiarity with Industry Regulations: Understanding of architectural documentation standards, building codes, and project delivery processes in the architectural industry.Summary of role requirements: Looking for candidates available to work: Monday: Morning, Afternoon Tuesday: Morning, Afternoon Wednesday: Morning, Afternoon Thursday: Morning, Afternoon Friday: Morning, Afternoon 2-3 years of relevant work experience required for this role Working rights required for this role Expected start date for role: 23 October 2024 Expected salary: $75,000 per year #J-18808-Ljbffr
