What you’ll do
The Micro Space Merchandiser brings the BIG W Strategy to life by partnering with various stakeholders to build out compelling micro space strategies and exceptional planograms. This role will play a critical role in our renewal program, supported with newly introduced BY capabilities to lead data driven decisions in our goals of transforming our stores to be easy to shop and easy to run.
* Creation of customer centric, data driven layouts and planograms
* Leading the merchandising vision and multi-year strategy for micro space in our stores, renewal and new store program across multiple categories
* Creation of insights and data, demonstrating strong analytical rigour that inform and influence the current merchandising opportunities
* Supporting all queries in relation to merchandising in a timely manner
* Execute category strategy plans as well as planograms and ranging in-line with Category review timelines
What you’ll bring
* Experience in a Micro Space related role
* Experience in retail/FMCG sector
* A minimum of intermediate Blue Yonder (Space Planning) capabilities
* Strong prioritisation skills and ability to draw insights from data
* Strong problem solving, analytical, verbal and written communication skills
