Account & Relationship Management (Sales)About the Role:As an Account Manager, you’ll be the trusted advisor for a large portfolio ranging from tier 2 and 3 builders to civil contractors across industries such as industrial, commercial, and construction. Responsible for a large portfolio of customers across the Cairns region, you’ll collaborate closely with clients to understand their needs, identify growth opportunities, and deliver innovative solutions that position our client as the go-to partner for high-quality products. The position involves managing over 200 accounts within a 250 km radius of Cairns. With the flexibility to manage your schedule, your time will be split between face-to-face client interactions, strategic planning, and administrative tasks managed from the office or on the road.Your key to success will lie in nurturing relationships, seizing new opportunities, and driving exceptional results in a region experiencing demand for construction materials. Supported by an experienced and approachable manager, you’ll hit the ground running with comprehensive training, ensuring you’re equipped with the knowledge and tools to thrive in your role.About You:You’re a results-driven professional with a proven background in sales or account management, ideally within the construction, civil, or industrial sectors. Experience with high-volume product sales is advantageous but your ability to build and maintain strong client relationships is what truly sets you apart. You thrive in fast-paced environments and bring a strategic mindset to every interaction. With excellent communication and negotiation skills, you’re adept at identifying opportunities, solving problems, and delivering value-added solutions. Your disciplined approach to sales, including managing pipelines and maintaining CRM systems, ensures no opportunity is missed.
