This is a part-time role at our Brisbane Campus. The successful applicant would have previous experience in Training and Assessing of the Diploma of Nursing.Duties and Responsibilities Train and assess students via various modes of deliveryRegularly monitor and evaluate the delivery of training to ensure excellent support and service to students to maximise successful outcomesConducting and evaluating assessmentsMaintain industrial currencyProvide outstanding student supportAdministration, updating competency results and student recordsContribute to and undertake administration procedures for the coordination of high quality training in the Nursing department.Contribute to and undertake quality assurance processes within the team & organisationParticipate in professional development opportunitiesEnsure compliance with internal policies & strategic objectives of the organisation & regulatory bodies.Essential Qualifications and Experience: TAE40116 Certificate IV in Training and Assessment or equivalent; including TAELLN411 or TAELLN401A (or their successor); and TAEASS502 or TAEASS502A or TAEASS502B (or their successor)Current registration with AHPRA as a Registered NurseTertiary qualification relevant to NursingHas Current Working with Children's Check (Blue Card)Has Current National Police CheckHas Current AHPRAHas First Aid Qualification - HLTAID009 is requiredHas nursing experienceHas previous RTO training experienceDemonstrated knowledge of Standards for RTOs 2015 and CRICOSDemonstrated ability to plan, develop, promote, facilitate, monitor and evaluate training programsHighly developed interpersonal, communication, presentation and negotiation skillsDemonstrated ability to train domestic and international studentsEssential Skills: Excellent team-playerAbility to build and maintain positive rapport with students and colleaguesCan-do attitudeSolution-focused and positive attitudeAbility to thrive and adapt in a fast-paced and changing work environmentFlexible teaching and learning strategies to assist students with barriers to learning e.g. low literacy levels or disabilitiesEffective communication and problem-solving skillsHigh level of computer software skillsAbility to plan, develop, promote, facilitate, monitor and evaluate training programsIf you would like to be a part of a growing and dynamic organisation that is passionate about delivering high-quality training, APPLY NOW!Note: Only short-listed candidates will be contacted.
