The Opportunity We currently looking for a Pharmacy Technician to join us on a contracted 12-month full-time position. Joining our pharmacy team based at St. Andrews's Private War Memorial Hospital in Spring Hill, you will work with allied health professionals and doctors to deliver optimum patient-centred pharmaceutical care.St Andrew's War Memorial Hospital is a 250-bed facility and has been providing healthcare to patients since 1958. It is the first private hospital in Queensland to have a cardiac surgical unit, and provides core services which include: Cardiac, Orthopaedics, Neurosurgery, Vascular Surgery, and Rehabilitation. About the Role Some of the duties and responsibilities you will undertake in this role include:Deliver high level pharmacy services to the hospital staff, patients and customersDispense and supply medications for hospital and cancer patientsAssist with imprest and pharmacy inventory managementUndertake delivery and collection of medications to hospital wardsComplete data entry of patient specific information into databaseAssist with patient account enquiriesLiaise with hospital staff and associated employeesAssist the pharmacy teams with any general administration The pharmacy operates 7 days a week, with varying start/finish times during those times.
