The RoleReporting to the Head of Technology, the Senior Manager – IT Architecture is responsible for developing and implementing the strategic IT architecture vision and roadmap. You will collaborate with technology and business teams to ensure the effective design, integration, and implementation of IT systems and solutions across the business. You will also scan the market to identify innovative technology solutions that could drive innovation and business efficiency, ensuring long-term IT alignment with SQE’s objectives.Key responsibilities:Strategic IT Architecture PlanningDevelop and communicate the strategic IT architecture vision and roadmap aligned with the organization's business objectives and renewable energy goals.Identify emerging technologies, industry trends, and best practices to drive innovation and efficiency within the IT architecture landscape.Collaborate with key stakeholders to define IT architecture standards, principles, and guidelines.IT Architecture Design and IntegrationOversee the design and integration of IT systems, ensuring they align with the strategic IT architecture vision.Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including software development, infrastructure, cybersecurity, and data management, to ensure seamless integration of systems and solutions.Conduct architecture reviews and provide technical guidance to ensure compliance with architecture standards and best practices.Solution Evaluation and SelectionEvaluate and recommend technology solutions, platforms, and vendors to meet the organization's IT architecture requirements.Conduct cost-benefit analysis, risk assessments, and feasibility studies to support decision-making.Collaborate with procurement and vendor management teams to negotiate contracts and manage vendor relationships.Skills and experienceMinimum of 10 years’ experience in Enterprise Architecture, preferably in the renewable energy industry or a related field.In-depth knowledge of IT architecture principles, enterprise systems, and technology trends (cloud computing, microservices, AI, data architecture, security).Strong experience in designing and implementing scalable, resilient, and secure IT solutions.Proficiency in evaluating and selecting technology solutions and vendors.Experience working with a variety of IT platforms (cloud, on-premises, hybrid), programming languages, and software development methodologies.What’s on OfferIn addition to a competitive remuneration package combined with attractive benefits, employees have the opportunity to access training and career development, and workplace flexibility.
