About the Role
You would be responsible for a portfolio of key government & enterprise level clients as well as play a key role in supporting our customers through Canon’s core business & solutions streams. You will also focus on providing excellent services and maximising revenue across the focused clientele in NSW. Not only will you plan and execute business plans with potential key customers to deliver against the overall business strategy but also own the account management of an existing portfolio of top tier customers. You will also be involved in the development of the strategic sales plan to deliver revenue targets and achieve profitable growth commitments across several product and service offerings.
This is a field sales role reporting to the Sales Manager – Enterprise & Government.
Main Duties
* Lead the development of new business opportunities and to plan and execute Business plans with potential key Customers to deliver against the overall Business strategy
* Own the account management of new customers (especially in the government sector in your territory that you bring on board) and/or any that may be assigned to you
* Liaise with any new or existing customers and the business to input to the development of the strategic sales plan to grow, meet and exceed sales and revenue targets and achieve profitable growth commitments across several product and service offerings
* Develop business engagement models that define the strategy
* Identify and steer opportunities for business improvement
* Report performance to budget with variance analysis and revised projections
* Contribute to and devise the development/implementation of sales strategies
* Attend and present at relevant seminars and other customer focussed events
* Proactively generate new business through a variety of go to market strategies and core propositions as well as the development of new business leads through the sales cycle.
* Generation and ongoing management of an accurate sales opportunity pipeline through proactive knowledge and understanding of the sales cycle.
About You
As someone with a proven track record in maximising business opportunities with top tier Enterprise or Government Accounts, you will enjoy leveraging your knowledge and experience of managed services and solutions. You are comfortable working autonomously, at the same time, collaborate with stakeholders across the country to achieve outcomes for our business. Your commercial acumen is second to none and you have a head for numbers and analytics and you have an eye for details when it comes to responding to detailed, complex tenders. Your previous experience of working with Enterprise organisations or Government agencies will be highly regarded.
