Location: Pharmacy Department, Townsville University Hospital
The Pharmacy Department provides the following services to The Townsville University Hospital (TUH):
Clinical Pharmacy Services as described by Advanced Pharmacy Australia (AdPha) Standards and by Queensland Health Standards. Provision of information about medications to both patients and their carers, including counselling for patients about their medications. Dispensing of prescriptions for both inpatients at discharge from hospital and outpatients. Manufacturing of medicinal products, creams, mixtures, aseptic and chemotherapeutic medications. Distribution and supply of medications to departments and wards within The Townsville Hospital. Your contributions will be valued and impactful.

Salary range: $6191.80 to $6409.40 p.f. Bachelor of Pharmacy Degree from a recognised tertiary institution (or equivalent) and current registration, or eligibility for same, with the Pharmacy Board of Australia. Must hold a relevant post-graduate qualification OR have the equivalent level of experience. This is a Vaccine Preventable Disease (VPD) risk role. Probation period may apply.
